Kenta’s bio-processing group is an integral part of the Kenta Biotech AG. It is focusing its activities on core competences in development projects and uses its industry and regulatory expertise to select and manage CROs and CMOs for delivering compliant drug product for Tox and Clinical study supply.
In the Kenta laboratories the staff produces high quality antibodies for in-house research and supplies the labs of its research partners for running infection disease models.
The multidisciplinary, competent team drives the antibody projects coming from research through the development chain, taking the mAb producing cell candidates from cell-line-development through an extensive testing and selection program to assuring its suitability for industrial large scale production of drug substance. It develops small scale processes to be transferred to partners and CMOs for optimization and scale-up to finally yield economic large scale production processes conform to high standards of regulatory requirements. |
